This is a self-help book. That I didn't know until I started reading it, you see, I don't read blurbs and the back covers of books even its goodreads's description most of the time perhaps because I want a book to surprise me, and this book did just that.

I saw the movie first so I was under the impression that this is the novel equivalent, nevertheless, I liked this book better. Better because I learned a lot from it than from the movie. It made me laugh all the more laugh at myself, because at 23, I must say that I've tricked myself as well into thinking of too many excuses when in fact I know the truth that's breathing under my neck... he is just not that into me.

So, from this day onward (and let this be my covenant), I will follow Greg and never will I waste the pretty EVER again!

PRPB goes to Rosales, Pangasinan

What better way to learn about a book but the place where it happened. So, to be able to discuss the 'Rosales Saga' and fulfill our F. Sionil Jose fandom, our book club (which is more like an advocacy), Pinoy Reads Pinoy Books or PRPB for short (and PiRePiBo for Po) went to Rosales, Pangasinan, FSJ's hometown and the setting of his highly-acclaimed novels, The Rosales Saga.

Hey, I'm writing a novel

HELLO BLOG! I've missed you. ^___^

Don't fret cos I'll use you often nowadays. Especially that many things have been happening to me. From back-to-back coverages, tapings and assignments, I managed (yes!!!) to join a writing class. And you are right it is free because people like me don't have the luxury to pay for such kind of education. Haha. Just kidding. I'm just lucky enough to be able to join Mina Esguerra's (Author of Interim Goddess of Love, Love Your Frenemies, Fairy Tale Fail, My Imaginary Ex, etc) Contemporary Novella Writing Class. She is currently teaching us styles and techniques that will help us to be able to write our own novels (and eventually finish it). And because of that, I think, I'm compelled to spend more time with my laptop (which I like to have a name but I figure that I really am not that mushy) to write, write, write and yes, rant and explode here... Bwahahaha *grins*

P.S.

This is bad. I've been singing just one song for days and this only means one thing... (No, definitely not LSS, you fool) it is exactly what I'm feeling right now. *SMH*
